After we completed the hiking trip of Mount Kerinci last year, we were contemplating to plan for another hiking for next year. Hence, we plan for hiking trip to the highest peak of Java Island, The Majestic Mount Semeru. This trip will be complemented with trip to Bromo and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Not much hype for almost a year then when the time has come, we made our preparation quite a rush.

The journey from KLIA2 to Juanda International Airport, Surabaya took approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes and after we have safely landed, we rush for a lunch at a restaurant near airport named Ikan Bakar Cianjur (IBC) Pondok Tempo Doeloe.

On the next day, we start our day with the delicious breakfast served by the homestay owner. The nasi rawon, tempeh and sambal were superb. This area is well known for its Nasi Rawon and we did not find this in Kerinci.
